  The sMRT Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) range has been specifically designed to meet new international safety standards and combine industry leading 121.5MHz, VHF DSC and AIS technologies. 

  The sMRT range of SOLAS life jackets have been specifically designed to be integrated with the sMRT Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) range, providing a complete man overboard safety solution. Available with additional safety features, the sMRT SOLAS PFD Solution ensures maximum comfort and safety.  

  Available in portable or fixed mounted units, the sMRT base station range includes 121.5MHz, VHF DSC and AIS receiving equipment to enable you to quickly alert, track and recover your crew in the event of a man overboard situation. 

 MRT's stocks a range of immersion suits have been carefully selected in order to ensure compatibility with our sMRT range of lifejackets and PLB's. 

  Within seconds of immersion it inflates, stands 2.0 meters above the water line and the internationally approved sMRT V100 Locator Beacon (PLB) automatically transmits GPS coordinates to your chart plotter via AIS. Additionally an alarm will immediately be sent to your VHF DSC radio so your captain will be alerted to the MOB incident.
